"Border Town" tells the ordinary and quiet life of a pair of grandparentsliving alone in Xiangxi town, and the loneliness and faint desolation that arehard to erase in this ordinary and quiet life. Cui Cui, the hero of the novel,has a hazy feeling with no ending, but feelings are not the whole story.
